Epical Worldwide Lotto sent us a check and said it was good and had us wire it to someone else and then promised us a larger check Otawwa Ontario
We recieved a letter in the mail with a check and it said we had won a lottery, and to call this number. We did and the man James Hilton, released the check and he told us to go and cash it. We went and cashed it and the bank gave us the cash, the bank cleared the check and gave us the cash. We were then told to go to Walmart and fill out a form, (money gram) and wire the money to Ottawa, Canada to a lady named Mary London. (Nov.19.07)
On Nov.20.07 he stated that he was waiting for the money to clear customs and he would call us with the tracking number from UPS.
(Nov. 21.07) we called him again and he gave us the tracking number which he mentioned we could call UPS and find out when the check would be arriving at our home and there was no worries this was a good check and we were winners. Since then we got nervous and looked it up online and found our that this is all a scam and has happed to other people and someone else actually put the entire letter on the internet just like ours!
We are a large family with 7 children and in the middle of a bankrupcy and we did not have just $3,345 to just throw away, especially during the holiday season and christmas. This makes me sick to think we just fell for a scam!
If there is anyone out there that knows how we can get our money back so we can still give our kids a christmas please let us know. We are desperate!
