Complaint Review: Epoch Properties

We discovered toxic molds in our apartment were making us sick within a few weeks of moving into Park Avenue at MetroWest aka The Hamptons. Company blamed mold/water intrusion on hurricanes, but handwritten notes for 400+ units not kept on the computers show damaged units existed since 2002 when the buildings were still new.

Same background and story as La Venezia apartmemts in Sarasota in 2001: Dishonest executives denying problems, cheap labor and improper construction cause buildings to fall apart shortly after construction. Managers hiding damaged property in garages around the property.

I am disabled and Epoch knew that from my rental application. Even after testing positive for Toxic molds ($600.00) and proving their existence, they have not helped us move or offered to replace damaged items because they are trying to convert the units to condominiums and sell them without fixing the problems - failure to disclose the existence of mold to a buyer is a crime in Florida.

Orlando Sentinel and Local TV stations are scared (?) to report - were given notice of class action lawsuit for mold last November yet still no mention of problems mentioned.

People are sick and many have gone to area hospitals due to exposure to the toxic living conditions here in The Hamptons.e

May God save us all from criminals such as this organization.
