On 8/1/11, I had an appointment in the city of Atlanta.  The company I was visiting sent me a map, detailing parking instructions.  When I pulled into the parking lot, the instructions said to "park against the fence."  The notice on the fence read "Limit 2 hr parking 6AM to 6PM.  I was informed that parking would be $5.00.

I pulled into the parking lot and immediately parked against the fence.  Before geting out of my vehicle, I checked to make sure I had a $5 bill to pay for parking

When I returned to my car, 45 minutes later, my tires were booted and there was a bright orange sticker on my window. A rather rude man came over and informed me I didn't pay.  I said it doesn't say to pre pay.  He then informed me it says IN ADVANCE on the pay box.  Not only did I not see the box, there are no signs that inform patrons that they must pre pay.  He wouldn't release my car until I paid $75.00.  Twice he said...cash, debit or credit??

If he was sitting there watching me, why didn't he have the courtesy to call out to me and let me know I need to pay before leaving.  I called the company twice and was basically told "that's your problem".  The car that parked next to me also was "booted".  That's $150.00 in 2 hrs.  I'd like to make that kind of money!!!

I am senior citizen on a fixed income and the extra $75.00 was not in my budget.  I have never before used a parking lot in Atlanta and I NEVER will again!!!
