Equal Access Fraud, Rip-Off and Liars Internet
The company is Equal Access. The agent I spoke to is named Derek. What a fraud and a liar. He had me believing I was buying a health insurance plan.
He lied to me through his teeth. He charged me a fee of $75. I found out it was a plan that no longer existed. It seems they have a platinum plan, a gold plan and bronze plan. I called again. I had a question about the health insurance I thought I purchased and I was told by an agent that the plan he sold me expired a few days ago. This transaction took place last Thursday, January 5, 2006. The plan he sold me expired and the rep I spoke to was stuttering like no end. The company is a fraud and I want my money back. I think the manager's name is Brandon. What a horrible company and I must say after they take your fee and you call with a question they are very nasty and unprofessional.
I thank you in advance and please post this on your site. It will help other people also.
P.S. He also told me it included a prescription plan. $10 for generic and $20 for brand. No such thing with this company. I found out it's just a discount on prescriptions.
Their web address is www.thepowerofthering.com
I didn't find that out until I made that second call. Sort of tells you something--doesn't it?
I want my $75 credited back in my checking account as soon as possible.
