Equidata,Inc. Offered a "free" credit report but required that I enroll as an account holder. Newport News Virginia
This company offered a "free" credit report. They required that I enroll in a product that would alert me to changes in my credit report. Said I could cancel anytime within 8 days and this service would be free. Got my report and immediately began to try to cancel. I was referred to six different departments before someone finally handed me to cancellations. This is a decpetive practice. It was also very hard to locate the telephone number for the business- I had to research Equidata, Inc. I would avoid them at all costs and I have learned a hard lesson.

You do not go to any of the Credit Reporting Agencies to get your "FREE" credit report. THERE IS ONLY ONE AUTHORIZED SITE!!!!
YOU AND MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE POSTED THIS SAME LAME COMPLAINT ARE AT FAULT!!! GROW UP AND START PAYING ATTENTION!
