We currently lease a very, very nice property right on the Rogue River. We had some issues with a fuse panel that controls the hot tub. We let our landlords Brian Dossey and Kathleen Dossey know about it. They called ER Electric (Steven Farris and Cindy) to schedule a time for them to come out and fix it. They ended up putting in a used breaker which lasted 2 or 3 days. I called Kathleen back and told her that it was broken again. She called ER Electric to come back out to fix it. They came back out and put in a breaker that wasn't the right one (according to technician). They sent us a couple of bills in our name for $234.75. After receiving them, I called Cindy and explained to her that the bills shouldn't have come to us and shouldn't be in our name - that they should go to Brian and Kathleen.

Fast forward a few months...we get sent copies of those same bills in the mail and the very next day we get a call from one of the employees saying that the breaker that was installed was just a temporary fix and since it was "violating code" and a "fire hazzard", that Brian wanted them to come out and install a GFI in the garage. I told him to call my wife and schedule a time to come out because she would have to let him in the security gate.

Fast foward a couple of hours later...my wife calls me in a panic saying that the technician has cut the electric wires to the hot tub and that he was ordered to do so by our landlord and not to reconnect it until we paid for those other 2 bills as well as for the GFI to be installed. He then said that if we didn't pay for it right then and there that ER Electric was going to turn us over to collections. He asked my wife if she realized that if we didn't pay it that it would ruin our credit and that they could sue us to get garnishments on our wages and put liens against bank accounts and personal property like our vehicles and such. My wife then informed me that she called Cindy and gave her a credit card number to pay the bills. The technician left without hooking the power back up to the hot tub. I called and left a mesage at ER Electric on Cindy's voicemail almost a week ago and have never received a return phone call.

So, my recommendation is to NEVER EVER EVER do business with ER Electric in Grants Pass, Oregon. We're not exactly thrilled with Brian Dossey or Kathleen Dossey either. The situation is still not resolved.
