On or around May 12, 2011, I searched online for traffic ticket attorneys.  A website by the name of ifighttickets.com was presented to me, so I clicked on it.  Shortly after I contacted them and spoke to a very nice lady by the name of Brisa.   Nice as she was... Behind the scenes a SCAM to take MY MONEY was growing!

NOTE:  ER LANE & ASSOCIATES SCAM is to drive traffic from the IFIGHTTICKETS.com website into a internal call center.  At this point... the HOOK IS SET!!!  You tell the person on the phone what type of ticket you have and they go on to REEL YOU IN; And tell you whatever they need to tell you -- JUST TO GET THAT CREDIT CARD!!!

I got right to the point and told Brisa that my ticket was $269 and that if this was going to cost a penny over my ticket amount, that I was not interested.  Brisa stated to me, based on my ticket type, that I would not be out of pocket more than my original ticket amount and that in most cases I will be paying less!  I replied with including the $75 fee; Brisa's reply was... YES!  See addendum A (screen shot direct from the ifighttickets.com website - What will this cost?  Number 8.)  I was shown this website page while I was on the phone with Brisa!!!  Go here to see: http://ifighttickets.com/cost.aspx

So I asked her to explain it again using my ticket of $269 as an example.  Below is what was explained to me:

My $269 ticket - $75 attorney fee = $194 max court cost I would pay.

I paid $75 based on the information told and shown to me by Brisa while on the phone.  I WAS NEVER GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK TO AN ATTORNEY, EVEN AFTER 5 ATTEMPTS!

What actually happened was this...

My $269 ticket increased to $301, plus a $25 driving safety course.  Also, there is the $75 Attorney fee charged to my credit card.  THANKS TO THE ER LANE & ASSOCIATES CREDIT CARD SCAM, MY $269 ticket has now been increased to $401.  I paid everything immediately and still continue to dispute the $75.

I'm not done yet... Here is HOW ER LANE & ASSOCIATES SCAM WORKED ON ME...

I contacted my credit card company and provided all factual documents based on court records, website information, etc....  My credit card was refunded the $75.

What happened next was...

A WELL THOUGHT OUT SCAM BY ER LANE & ASSOCIATES - MASTER SCAM ARTIST
One document (Terms & Conditions), ONLY ONE, was faxed over to the credit card company and the charge was put back on my credit card - A DOCUMENT PRESENTED AFTER THE FACT, I NEVER KNEW EXISTED!

This was a well thought out "SCAM" business model - Drive traffic to a website, tell them what they want to hear, hide a major document that will keep clients from doing business with your company, then SCAM THE CLIENT'S CREDIT CARD, then send one hidden document (Term & Conditions) if client complains.  Great business model for someone that could not make it in real law!!!

I would have never used their services... had ER LANE & ASSOCIATES not HIDDEN A DOCUMENT FROM ME!!!
