On July 19, 2021, Club Pilates at Tenleytown general manager, Eric Halo, placed a manual charge on my bank account for one month of services after I had terminated membership account on July 7, 2021. The charge overdrafted my bank account, creating a  $36 fee to my banking institution. Insult to injury.

I have called and emailed the studio multiple times, only to be told by the receptionist "Allie" that, "this is what he does."  Hails via email to Eric have resulted in one correspondence that I should have followed the "rules." Point of fact, I had. Multiple emails and two pieces of documentation -- the Freeze policy and cancellation form -- demonstrate this.

The issue is that Club Pilates cancellation policy is fraudulent and unethical. They charge clients to cancel their services, even though the contract terms are month to month with 30 days notice. Meaning, they charge clients to terminate using their studio for any reason -- include COVID during a global pandemic.

I work in healthcare. I work with COVID providers and their patients and cannot cross contaminate public businesses for this reason. Charging me to uphold my company's policy and keep other Club Pilates clients safe during this pandemic is predatory, unconscionable and unethical. Shame on you, Eric Halo and Club Pilates.
