Complaint Review: erie construction

Erie Construction are a total rip-off.  I work there and cannot stand theway they conduct business.  I am in the telemarketing department and have a boss name "Rick Meyer", when hired in he told me he was an attorney, come to find out his real name is "Richard Allen Meyer, jr" after a month of working there I wanted to know more about the company I represent and found out that my boss, himself is no longer an attorney, and he lost his license, in the state of ohio, indefinately for....GUESS WHAT? FRAUD... no wonder why he works at erie and they gave him a job... after finding out that fact I can't even look at him right because of the fact he was screwing people out of money as an attorney let alone he probably does it to us as employees and everyone else he comes into contact with.....

I am the one who calls up everyone to set up the appointment and of course we are told to lie and by any means get a lead, otherwise, we won't have a job....This company is a crooked company... I have heard from my bosses own mouth deceit that our salesmen use to get a contract signed and different ways to "hussle" a potential customer into wanted our product....

In fact, all of our product are extremely overpriced!!!!!!! We won't go out to certain types of homes.  If your home is under 60,000$ for a roof & windows we wont go to it..  (hense, the missed appointments)  we won't tell you why we won't go, but thats it... if you only need 3 windows we won't go unless you want an e-shield, too.... The one thing I really don't like is that if you have a significany other, even if you're not married or only one of you are on the deed or one is extremely busy with work or so forth, we won't go and are not allowed to set appointments because they say its because of they want both parties to agree, but it's actually because if the wifes credit isnt good enough they want the husband there for his credit,,,ONLY!!!  This is a very crooked company, even though I collect a paycheck, that's all it is too me, a paycheck....... This company don't care about you and don't care about the quality of work you receive... all they care about is MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!! I hope you read this and take it seriously and DO NOT GO TO ERIE CONSTRUCTION, you will find cheaper and more quality of work from someone local... PS- they do sub contract...ERIE is just a sales company, we don't do the work......
