Ernie Behrle, as the listing agent for selling my home resulted in an unnecessary loss of money for me. During a discussion of a counter offer I told Ernie the price which would be acceptable to me and he later sent me a text stating the buyers had agreed to it. Then he sent me a Purchase Agreement via Docusign which had already been signed by the buyers, and with my selling price $1,000 lower than I had told him. Of course it would not have been possible to change the price without jeopardizing the sale.

Also, I had made it clear to Ernie that I was not going to include my refrigerator with the house. But Ernie never put that in the listing notes, did not convey it to the buyers' agent, and even after I reminded him that I was not including it, he negotiated the sale including the refigerator, without my permission, and then told me the buyers would walk if I did not include it.

Overall Ernie Behrle had a hands-off approach. After gaining the listing he did not explain or go over any documents, did not listen to or respect my instructions and requirements for the sale of my property, and caused me a loss of money while obviously profitting from my sale through the commission.

Ernie Behrle did not fulfill his duties as required by the Working with Real Estate Agents agreement and after contacting the owner of the agency, Laurence Nicolaysen, I have received no communication or resolution to the issue.

False Accusations

It was with shock and dismay that I was told about the accusations of "anonymous" !  I know what transaction this is and her claims are false.

First off, I have been in business for 21 years without a single complaint and pride myself in that. I have complete documentation including all the emails and texts proving her to be wrong.  The seller never allowed me to communicate with her in person and thus all negotiations had to be done by email or text.  I did make recommendations as I always do to my clients on possible ways to negotiate to a sucessful closing but seller was never coerced to sign anything she didn't agree to or had requested I do.  Also, she did send an email to my Broker in Charge who did reply back to her as I was copied on that.
