Complaint Review: Eroticy

Hi,
I am a brand new member to the site and was searching for another possible site that is a ripoff when I came across lots of comments about Eroticy.com.

My take on this whole subject is that while one does get a 3 day pass, after the 3 days, one can't even modify their own profile. while I had the 3 day free trial membership I must have contacted about 40 women right from the minute that I was a member whose profile stated that they were in my area.

Like someone had mentioned on a Consumer Comment, it was not until after the 3 day trial period that I began to receive and still receive emails from eroticy telling me that I have emails from women. I get at least one every day.
However now in other to read them I have to upgrade my membership. I can look however at the women that send them. The only problem is that they are from women that are not from my state or area. When I first signed up I specifically said as part of my profile that I would only respond to women in my area. I think they (Eroticy.com) is trying very hard to get me to upgrade my membership, but after reading all the comments, H**l no.....

Ok Im new to this so bare with me. Am I a member of Eroticy ? YES

Am I an employee of Eroticy ? NO

am I still a member of eroticy ? Yes

The bottom line is this...I like Eroticy. It allows me to contact different people and chat with them.

I also talked to SoftandSteffy a few times and made said person laugh.

Do i care if the people on Eroticy are fake ? nope

Am I fooling myself in thinking eroticy is good ? probably, but do u know what...I dont care

This is just to reply to "gary" from MI....I am calling him on his lies, which are meant to distract the average reader from the fact that I have had a positive experience with the website eroticy. Lance, you are entitled to your opinions, but maybe, just maybe, things there have changed for the better! I promise you that people are meeting each other all the time on eroticy and some have even started dating. I have to respond to "gary" simply because I don't people thinking that my opinion is just based on lies or that I am not who I say I am!

There are catch phrases that people pick up on and then roll with them...Nice try..again, deflection from the fact that I had a positive experience with Erot! Apparently it is HARD for you to see that I am not the only with a bad taste in their mouth when it comes to being threatened, lied to and harassed.

I went into planetsteffy, as I have said time and again, with a different screen name. My perogative. I just didn't want certain members there to know who I was, to avoid being threatend or vebally attacked. But it didn't matter, because even though I clicked the little "hide profile" button, Steffy still revealed who I was in chat. PB signed his name to everything. He has even less fear than I.

I have more than just a problem with one or two members on Planetsteffy. I have a problem with a website that allowed physically violent posts to be posted and responded too, I have a problem with a site owner revealing who people really are behind screen names, and I have a problem with a website that allows slanderous and defaming remarks against people, and or websites, which BTW is in direct violation of their server's user agreement! I am not going after planetsteffy, all you have to do is trace everything back to the beginning and see that I only speak when someone attacks me first. I don't work for eroticy, that would be stupid! I am on eroticy because i enjoy the site and it's members. I don't hate steffy, hate is such a very strong word, but she simply refuses to work any of this out. I offered her a truce and even went so far as to offer one of her members copies of everything I have compiled, but she told me not too. (i have that email from steff if you want to see it)...oh and as I have stated, I am not afriad of confronting people when they are in the wrong...silly boy...you should have seen that one by now, by the 17 posts you have counted with my name attached to it!

That was "elizabeth", and if i am not mistaken, steff discovered that it was another disgruntled member of erot, not me...wait in fact, i still have those logs from the convo with her. Even though everyone thought it was me, steff found out who it was and apologized to me for thinking I was "elizabeth". Steffy was not the only moderator, and frankly, unless you know the whole story (which I can tell from your own post that you do not), refrain from commenting, it only serves to back up everything I have ever said about MEMBERS of planetsteffy lieing to cover up that there might be members of ERoticy who have had very positive experiences with Eroticy. :::sigh::: I feel like a broken record.

I have to add, that because of gary's irresponsiblity in posting my private information here, I jumped to conclusions and emailed a gary from planetsteffy com to express my concerns and anger at having my safety compromised. He wrote me back and stated that it was not him and I apologized. I was wrong. Unlike the members of planetsteffy that continue to harass me, I admit when I am wrong. even in a public forum!

Ok, look, I started this thread for the sole reason of saying my experience with Eroticy, for the people who have stated their case on the matter, and spent out money like I did, foolishly I might add so no one else has to do it, but if this helps get your frustration out, good, I am truly happy that at least it helped someone.



But for those of you who are here blasting us for saying our b***h-fits about Eroticy goes to show one thing: you have too much free time on your hands. I mean, why would you defend a site that you claim not to work for, not to have any use of or whatever, and just come in here and talk crap about us? either you really do work for them, or you just do not have anything else to do with your free time. I will admit, I don't, so go ahead say what ya would like about me.



This thread was started by me, who uses the same name through out the site, for men and women who were bullshited and lost some money. Not for every pain in the a*s person on the net with a keyboard and a vocabulary to come in here and talk crap. So if your either going to have a problem with Eroticy and post it, or defend it through being a happy customer or a employee,fine, I really do not care, but if your here just to b***h about pointless crap, I am totally sure there is a website somehere around for that.



And as far as some website against Eroticy, where might this be? Never heard of it, nor after searching it, does it exsist, give some facts please, and it's no Mission from god man, it's just the d**n truth, I still get e-mails from them, for a profile with pure,utter jibberish. Now come on, say what ya want to say? Ya know you want to....

I've said it before I'll say it again, I think I have maybe posted anywhere about any of this 4 times. Yes I may know some of the people posting, but the times I have actually posted anywhere on this subject are few and far between. I'm not afraid to use my real name, and I don't mind if you guys use it, really it doesn't bother me. Just make sure you spell it right, thats my pet peeve, cause I'm a stickler for spelling. I know it may just come as a total shock to all of you, I really don't care about any of this. I don't care about your guys plight against eroticy and i don't care about anyone elses plight against you. I actually find it all kinda humorous and entertaining at times. I don't give two flying craps about your site, but the people on there(not all of course) are deceptive and they are liars. To me, and everyone out there can respond to this, but it sounds like you aren't very happy in eroticy since you spend so much time here.

It is so obvious to me that there is a campaign going on against eroticy by a small number of people from a site I won't mention, seeing as it has already been mentioned here by numerous other people. They post often, under different names just to make it look like more people are complaining then really are. I have even read messages on their own site that tell people to go out and do exactly that. Again no need to mention the name of the site, they know who they are anyway. I'm not saying that some of their complaints are not legitimate, but, it is hard to know which ones are and which ones are not, seeing as they have no problem with just lying at will or making up falsehoods that they spout off as fact to back their claims. If someone has a difference of opinion they are labeled as fake or workers for eroticy. Even if it is known for a fact that they are not. They say one of the main problems with eroticy is that it lies to its customers and deceives them. How are they any better if they are willing to lie and deceive people to get what they want?

They even allow flat out physical threats to be made about "watching your back" where the writer of the threat actually admits to it being a threat and so do some of the core members right in the post and do nothing about it. they actually left it up until someone called them on it. If they would have never been called on it it would still be up till this day. Then they go around with more lies and a disclaimer from the site owner about how she can't allow threats and that she would have never allowed the first one if she would have known it was there. this being a flat out lie seeing as she posted under the very message in question. Apparently she thinks that everyone is an idiot if she can act like she didn't know about it even after she replied to the message.

They complain about eroticy letting woman on the site for free and that thats not fair, but only after 3 years of having free accounts taken away from them, what kinda ethics is that. Its OK as long as I'm using the free account, but as soon as it gets taken away, oh now I have to start complaining about it; how hypocritical. I mean correct me if I am wrong, if the site is so bad, why were you members of eroticy for so long, how does that make any sense whatsoever.

They complain left and right but ask any of them if the problem with eroticy was meeting people, cause it was not. Fact of the matter is that all of them met on eroticy in the first place. They will tell you they meet in spite of eroticy, but the truth is if not for eroticy they would have never met, period, which in my eyes is just another one of their hypocritical points.

I know they are going to come after me hard for this letter, as they do with anybody who has a difference of opinion and I am going to get accused of being a worker bee or a robot, which I am not. Or they are going to accuse me of being their favorite whipping girl, which i am not either. But thats what they do to people with opposite opinions then their's, they just make stuff up about them or try to play them off as idiots. When in actuality I am just an objective man that is tired of seeing people campaign for a site that does a lot of the same things they are campaigning against..it lies, it deceives, it has no ethics.

The ironic thing about this whole situation is that two of the founding members of this site actually at one point worked for eroticy as chat moderators, sure they did not get payed, but when you are providing a service to a company you are working for them. Which in my eyes is the biggest hypocrisy. Apparently eroticy is an "evil" web site but hey they are going to make me a chat moderator, so I'll look the other way. In the time those two spent I did not see one change made to eroticy dealing with any of the complaints they claim they have against it. Not one picture or profile that is supposedly fake was taken down. Not one woman paid (according to them) to bring people into chat was removed. The emails they said were sent to keep people from leaving the site were not stopped. What exactly did they do to make the site better? With all the power or dirt they claimed they held over eroticy you would think that part of the deal would have been to change some of the things they had problems with, but no just make us chat moderators and we will go on with business as usual. Until you ban us of course and then we will start the campaign all over again.

So read this report, read all the reports you see them make on every where they can and take them with a grain of salt. Because the fact of the matter is although eroticy has some questionable things wrong with it (lord knows I'm not singing their praises) most of the messages you read against it are posted by the same small group of people that are on a mission from god apparently, and this small group of people can be no more trusted then the people at eroticy.

I have followed the Eroticy saga for quite some time and have some advice for those of you serious about gaining some respect from Eroticy.



Hit them where it hurts.



Surf the internet. Each time you see another site with the eroticy logo or that advertises for eroticy, write them an email, stating that they should look at this site or AINews. 99% of the sites that advertise for Eroticy will pull the advertisements immediately. They dont want to be associated with a site that has so many complaints againt them.



To date, I have had 6 sites pull their ads and havent even begun yet.



Eroticy knows it is in trouble and thats the purpose behind starting Cherish. Don't be fooled by the fake site and spend any money on them. I would advise that a site such as this one, be reviewed before any cc information is given.



AINew has also publsihed the truth about eroticy, so you may want to review that as well. Eroticy is a scam site and should be shut down very soon.



They have fooled, tricked and taken many men, and they will show no mercy when they are shut down for those that paid in advance.

I am sorry you had such terrible experiences on the site, and I am sorry if there are parts of the site that you don't agree with.



I personally have gone out of my way to meet the people I talk to in chat. I have given out my phone number, organized parties and have even met my live in boyfriend on Eroticy.



The message boards and chat are filled with people who want to meet other people all the time. How do I know this you ask, well I am one of those people who will meet others offsite.



The site has more to offer than just personal interaction, there are web cams, movies and even adult games. If you don't like it, find another site, but don't lump every person on the site into the fake or bot category. There are members that are real, and even members that have met others. Now how is that from someone who isn't being paid to talk to you.

As a professional seeker of porn(Shall we say), I found myself captured by the submittals about one site Eroticy. I have been watching this board as well as several others, and decided to see what the fuss was all about. I joined eroticy for their 3 day trial and what I found was disturbing.



No less than 350 professional models and/or porn stars were discovered in a short period of time, some of which were chatting in their chat room.



I was appalled at such an activity, and promptly disassociated myself with their site as the mere presence of several well known porn stars was more than disturbing.



I wanted to make sure I was seeing what I thought, so went in on my 3 day membership the following day, only to discover I was correct on my first sighting. Eroticy uses what the industry and chat sites know as Bots. They are professional chatters acting as normal everyday members, drawing men/women into their site for paying memberships.



My professional opinion is to stay away from such a site, and search for something more realistic. If paying members need to talk to Bots and fake members, by all means, do it for free at the over 2500 cam sites that offer free chat with upsells.

The reports here are totally accurate. Eroticy is a fake site that utilizes workers to act like women and other members. I know this for a fact because of the 250 members they have listed in one state, one person is all of those members.



Eroticy does not take down old accounts, keeping them to put them over the 2 million member mark. They have more like 350 members...not the 2 million they advertise.



I personally saw one member in the chat (a very attractive woman) who left the site 2 years ago. I know her personally, and she has not been in the chat site for 2 years, yet she suddenly appeared the other day???????



DO NOT join this site folks. Your credit cards will not be stopped when you wish to cancel. Your email will fill up after your trial membership. And you will chat and talk to a girl in the chatroom who is really scott or kristie mitchell behind the screen.
