I RECEIVED MY PHONE BILL TODAY WITH CHARGES FOR A PERSONAL VOICE MAIL SERVICE THAT I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR, I HAVE AN ANSWERING MACHINE AT HOME AND ALSO USE CALL WAVE, WHEN I CALLED THE TO DISPUTE THESE CHARGES THEY TOLD ME ANYONE CAN SIGN YOU UP AS LONG AS THEY HAVE YOUR NAME, PHONE NUMBER AND eMAIL ADDRESS.

I THEN CALLED VERIZON AND THEY SAID ALL THEY CAN DO IS DISPUTE THE CHARGES FOR 30 DAYS IF THE COMPANY DOES NOT ISSUE A CREDIT I WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHARGES AND BY THE TIME I RECEIVED THIS BILL THE HAVE CHARGED ME AGAIN.

THIS IS NOT FAIR AND THE TELEPHONE COMPANY SHOULD HAVE SOME RESPONSIBILITY IN TAKING CARE OF THIS FRAUDULANT SCAM. THE ONE THING THEY DID WAS BLOCK them from charging me again
