ESBI Residential EMail attempted ripoff Plantation Florida
I received my phone bill today and since I'm on a phone plan with a fixed monthly amount, I noticed the extra charges right away. ESBI wants $14.31 for a residential email onetime setup fee which I never requested.
I called the number listed on the bill and told the person I never signed up for this. She rambled on about the benefits of their service. I repeated that I never signed for this and did not want it. Suddenly she started having computer problems. I have no idea if the 888 area code incurs any any LD charges but I felt like she wanted to keep me holding.
I requested their email address and physical address so that I could write a letter of complaint with copies to my phone company. I have no intention of paying this portion of my phone bill. Lucky for me, I noticed right away.
