Beware!!  Sales reps associated with this company have a pattern of lying and deceiving to induce you to sign a non-cancellable equipment lease (3 or 4 year leases at $80 +/- per month) for a commonly available credit card terminal that you could otherwise purchase for a few hundred dollars.  Their tactic is to imply that the equipment is "included" in the fees for the merchant account you set up with them.   Their sales pitch is appealing: they promise they can lower your credit card processing fees.  In my case, not only did my fees nearly double, I also got stuck with an $80/mo. lease payment that I didn't have before.

Two reps that have had reports filed for their deceitful sales tactics are Michael Lee (in the Los Angeles area) and Angelo Girginis (North Carolina area??).  They can come across as very knowlegable (and they probably are)....but READ everything...understand what the total cost is going to be.

I've cancelled the Eschelon merchant account and moved on to Wells Fargo merchant services--and no equipment needed.  Wells has been wonderful to work with.

Check out the BBB reports with the Arizona bureau--you'll see that Eschelon has many unresolved complaints that are all similar to my experience--people who have cancelled and are still stuck with an expensive lease for several years for equipment that is no longer needed.
