An employee from Escreen EMRO called my emergency contact without any attempt to reach me to discuss inform me of a positive result.  I had a seperate test done in case of such a situation because I have been working on getting the job the cost me for over 3 months.  My control test was negative but they said I would need to pay an additonal $150 for another test regardless of perscription information.

My would be employer said they would be happy to pay for another test and told me to call 888 382-2084 or 888 382-2281.  Ehe employees would only give me their first names and were all very rude.  Stepenie and Becky implied I was lying by claiming their test results are 100 percent accuate.  She said contamiantion and false positives are impossible because test they have the tests collected at Lakeside Medical and send them to ALERE.

I asked to talk to her supervisor who would only identify herself as Stephenie.  She was very rude from the start and made it clear she couldn't help because their tests are never wrong.  I asked her to transfer me to her manager.  The manger said her name was Becky.  She said Exreen only handles storage, delevery and "medical review on drug tests".  She transfered me to "Tasha" who refused all me requests for a copy of my results, details on the testing, conact information for ALERE Toxicology and told me any futher correspondence would need to be submitted in writting unless I agree to pay $150 upfront.

Stay away from this company at all costs.  Ask for your tests to be handled and "reviewed" by another company if you come accross them.  Tasha and Becky both admitted they only handle the samples but all testing is done by ALERE Toxicology.  The samples are collected by a third company and both Escreen employees admitted the provide reviews without any testing of thier own.  This means they are collecting $150 per test to simpy add an aditonal risk of contimiantion without providng any legititmite service.

Part of a Long Running Pattern by such Labs

Your Alere experience is quite comparable to that which many had, when it was going by the name of Kroll, in its Richmond, VA and Gretna, LA lab facilities.

Only for others it was the loss of their liberty, livelihood and lives in some cases for sure.

Google "Landon v. Kroll" and you'll see how much worse it could have been. And in the event anyone reading this is a person who is yet to give over any specimen for drug testing to be reported on and for you to have to live with whatever the consequences of that are...

You should be obtaining your own independent test - and by blood. As any urine specimen can be too easily accused of begin tricked by you. It may be the only thing that can protect you from all manner of hellish dominos falling in your life. And maybe your life itself. There have to be at least a few who chose suicide, after their lives had been wrecked by one false drug test report, for the many effects that had for them.

But in general - where each of the labs engaged in providing drug testing under contract to the companies you work for, hope to work for, supervise your probation, parole, family or drug court program - or any other... Remember they are profit seeking corporations. And where drug test reliability is inversely proportionate to drug test cost... They're not going to be erring on the side of caution - that is all yours - and of no consequence to them. No matter how the test comes out.

Spread the word - cover yourself - and if you manage to follow good advice and come upon a cheating and greedy lab... Enjoy your own process of suing them.

I've thus far MADE NEW LAW out of Landon v. Kroll, at the common law level, and intend to go straight to the NY Legislature as soon as I obtain the civl verdict which proves absolutely that the then Kroll, now Alere, Lab in Richmond, VA - had been corner cutting to the tune of thousands - if not tens of thousands - being falsely prosecuted and incarcerated - on one, short shrift, cut corner, money grubber, Screen only preliminary result - for a specimen it had Skipped the initial Validity testing of - then Rushed to throw the evidence away into the trash. Hence the need for a lawsuit... If they would have stood up to me in Criminal court in 2008 - I would not have to be suing still in 2016.

Proceed, always, with caution for yourself - that only yourself can care enough about to exercise.
