Escrow Docs gave me terrible customer service in closing my home purchase. It took them 3 estimated and 8 final settlement statements (hud-1) to get my deal completed. It also took them ten days to get me my check after my home was funded
Blake Cory was very condesending, telling me that this is accounting and things just need to be switched around to zero things out. His company repeatedly made mistakes on my settlement and I was told twice that they were just software errors, and I had to wait till the software co. fixed them.
I was told by his employee Kimberly Spellman that she had to go to class for four hours just to learn how to do my deal (which was a simple transaction).
I was also told by Kimberly that these were just numbers and a matter of switching things around; to which i replied that it is not just numbers, that this is real money - mine!
They wasted alot of my time with trips back and forth to get this sorted out, due to their lack of knowledge in processing. I was told by Kimberly that someone at their office simply did not know how to use the program, and that was why i received a different settlement statement than the one they sent me just a few hours earlier. They did finally resolve things, but they took all the joy out of owning my new home
