Essentials - Adaptive Marketing Ripped me off by charging my credit card for three years said they can not prove that I signed up for their subscription since I did not Omaha, Nebraska
Upon opening what appeared to be junk mail, I was shocked to see that I had to call a number or a membership in Essentials would be automatically renewed at a annual cost of $239. When I called to indicated there was an error and I had never signed up for their discount service, I was informed that I had registered (although they could not provide any documentation) and further that I had been paying for three years as an automatic deduction from my credit card. I asked for a refund as I never have even heard of Essentials or Adaptive Marketing, and even though they agreed to refund 2005 charge of $219, they refused to refund 2004 and 2003 charges of $199 and $149.
I believe that this kind of marketing is a travesty and hope there are others that will work with me to communicate the fradulent activities of this company. They get your name and credit card information when you order via infomercials, etc. Beware!!
