Complaint Review: Essex Holdings Navin Xavier

My name is Howard Berthelot from St Amant La.  I am 79 years old going through stage 3 kidney disease with a wife who has Alzheimer’s.  I wired $50,000 to Essex Holdings Inc for an investment to help pay our medical expenses on October 1^st 2012 with money going into a 9 month Essex Promissory Note. I received interest owed during the 9 month term and after the note matured I verbally requested my principal be returned.

 My initial requests were ignored by Essex and on December 4 2013 I made a formal written request to Essex only to receive a letter back from Marlon Bryan the Essex attorney dated December 20, 2013 saying Essex had no records of any transaction with me even though they had bank records of receiving my $50,000, and a copy of my Essex Note. I have the email sent directly to Dr. Xavier from 2012 requesting he personally execute my Essex Note with instructions to mail my signed Essex note directly back to me. I also have a copy of earlier email request sent to him instructing  Essex to return my funds due to our health. Our investment funds were wired directly to Essex Holdings  account at T.D. Bank, and would not take but a few minutes for Essex to verify.

Even though Essex was saying they did not know me I had earlier received a call on November 26, 2013  from Anthony Baker who works for Essex who assured me that by mid January 2014 I would have all my money returned.  The attorney’s letter from December 20^th told me I would be a high priority but I have not had a single response from Essex or their law firm since the letter was sent to me over 5 months ago.

I have been more than patient, and have requested my funds be returned without having to hire an attorney which would charge me a third of what I recover from Essex.  I need to resolve this matter as quickly as possible with the stress and aggregation worsening my health.
