I have never complained about a company before but Esurance Insurance agency is absolutely the worst, and I don't want anybody else going through what I had to go through. June 3rd, 2013, I called for a car and truck quote because I bought a new vehicle and wanted to check new quotes. They cheerfully did all the signing up over the telephone. I paid in full for 6 months, printed out my cards and registered my new vehicle. On June 23rd, I received an e-mail stating I needed to submit my new vehicle registration, copies of driver licenses of people associated with my address and their declaration's of insurances of anybody associated with my address (even a tenant), or they would cancel my insurance on July 17th. Since I already paid for six months, I abdided, even getting a copy of my sons driver license from a different addy. My tenant had a company fleet vehicle, so there was no declaration of insurance with her name on it only her companies, they would not accept that. They cancelled me for not obtaining a form that is not even in print. I assume their goal was to make me put anybody associated with my address on my insurance policy, regardless if they are family or not. I spent time and money sending hard copies of forms to them along with numerous e-mails and phone calls. The day they canceled me, I called Geico and received insurance within 10 minutes, Geico had all my info available via the internet and they had no requests for vehicle registrations, driver license copies or insurance declarations. needless to say, I have a clean drivers record, I have never been asked to submit these types of forms to maintain insurance. Had Esurance requested that information when I signed up for the policy, I would never had accepted it and would have looked elsewhere, so - BEWARE.
