Complaint Review: Etrade

Etrade Is Unethical in their business practices!!! I got with Etrade about a year a half ago. I AM IN THE US NAVY AND WAS ASSIGNED TO THE MIDDLE EAST IN SUPPORT OF THE WAR ON TERRORISM FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR!! So the last thing I wanted to think about for that year, or the couple of months before and after, was trading stocks!!!!!! I called etrade and told them this and was assured that "DURING YOUR DUTY YOU WILL NOT BE PENALIZED IN ANY WAY!!" Well, I get back and have a bill of $240 because there was "no activity on the account," WELL NO CRAP!!! I called twice and was told they took a hard stance on "non-traders!" ha

PLEASE (MILITARY PERSONNEL, NAVY, MARINES, AIR FORCE, ARMY) DO NOT USE Etrade, THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THERE OWN CLAIMS OR PROMISES AND ARE COMPLETELY UNETHICAL AND, I MY OPINION, UN-AMERICAN.
