European Film Bonds Ltd. 22 – 25 Eastcastle Street 2nd London W1W 8DG UK My name is John J. Anderson and I'm the consulting producer admitted into the Producers Guild of America.  I and my 2 companies was involved in producing 50+ films and am based in New Orleans, Louisiana.   I was hired as a consulting producer only and wasn't paid what my contract called for.   So I sued. I obtained a judgment against a film entitled "Starbright" (Andertainment Group, LLC versus Starbright, Inc _ case number etc) 17-08242-E Baton Rouge City Court La. and the balance, with legal interest and costs, is over $22,000.

The stress of the film and not being paid promptly caused me heart issues resulting in a hospitalization. The filmmakers ran out of money and the bond company took over.    "Great!"  I thought.   Bond companies pay when films go south and run out of money.   European Film Bonds was the name of the company. I thought it odd they never monitored the production closely.

They never looked at footage or made sure they had backups of the video files (dailies) and seemed a bit clueless about film production. When presented with the judgment I had obtained and a demand, they paid NOTHING.    A bond is basically an insurance policy filmmakers take out if things go bad on a film to make sure the vendors are paid and they usually complete the film.   This bond company hasn't paid vendors here in Louisiana, including me (my LLC) and over two years have gone by. This seems like a POTENTIAL fraud / scam / sham / flim flam outfit that takes money on the front end and doesn't live up to their promises on the back end. ( Evasive, shady, ashell game)

I will update you in the weeks and months ahead as to what happens. Will the movie ever be completed? They oparate out of London ;Los Angles ;Germany; Denmark we demanded payment( catch us if you can) -Warning -  Where did the money go from the film, because there certainly was enough to make an expensive Hollywood-level production? Were other vendors not paid?   I know of a few not paid.  Perhaps they will chime in here. ***
