Evans Glass From "Leader of the Pack" to "In the Dog House" Seattle Washington
I worked as a greeter for Evans Glass from 2005 to 2006.
One minute I was being praised to the skies as the "Leader of the Pack," my supervisor could not say enough nice things about me, I received three raises, the next minute I was in the dog house, as in fired.
As I was getting ready for work one morning the substitute supervisor called and told me that the owner of the company had told her to call me and tell me that I was fired. The substitute supe informed me that she'd told the owner that she wouldn't fire me, that was up to the regular supe when she returned from vacation; she was sure the regular supe could get things straightened out, but in the meantime, not to come to work. So I didn't.
I never heard from the regular supe, the substitute supe, or anyone else from Evans Glass. I had to assume that I really was fired when my work schedules did not show up in the mail. No one ever explained why exactly I was being let go. I asked the sub supe, but she told me that the owner had refused to explain to her the reasons he didn't want me at work anymore.
