It is hard to say if these guys are well-intended incompetent, or just deceitful pretending not to understand the consequences of their own practices. Which ever is true, all would be well advised to exercise caution in dealing with EventBrite, or to simply avoid them.
EventBrite oversells events and plays musical chairs with the ticket buyers.
If you get there first, you get in, if not .... it is not their fault, concern or responsibility. Convenient stupidity ? Greed, Ticket Fraud ?
Once EventBrite has your money, they are done. Period. They will have nothing to do with you or any problems you encounter because of their incompetency.
