I used to work for events and adventures as a membership sales rep. just because it was basically the last resort thing to do at the time, especially because of the economy. I worked for a sales manager which never could give a true "Training" when she would always talk about her own "love life" and it was a lot of different "love lifes" to talk about. I witnessed this person smoke marijuana in the garage of the club house on buisness hours and take appointments right after. That is so unproffessional as a "leader." Well, as I worked there for some months she fed me a whole lot of BS about how much money is to be made and benefits to be had. I never saw this and when I confronted the sales manager and told her this isn't a great place to work she would just put me down and say "it's because of your closing percentage that your not making money." well, I have been a strong closer since I started except for two months one was because I was REALLY sick and had no health insurance to go to the doctor. That was accounting's fault may I add. So my closing percentage yes.. wasn't up to par for that time. But when I am back in motion the Houston sales "manager" wants to say I'm on probation due to my closing percentage which is fine. Since she cannot handle the pressure of her bosses cracking down on her she takes it out on the ppl. that are struggling. Instead of helping she be-littles. I don't know if its because of the major drug problem that is going in the company Events and Adventures Sales management team or she can't handle it.

They told us to say that there are over 2000 members in the club which probably are but I always saw the same ppl at each event. And the club is way too expensive just to go out and meet ppl. I just wanted to write this to warn future membership goers to watch out. Nothing is what it is at Events and Adventures. The Sales team is not really doing a screening process. It's a scripped that allows you to get all your excusses out of the way so when it comes down to asking you to join you have to excusses. Thats Wrong!!! If you cannot afford it don't join. It's a high pressured sales and they will tell you anything and everything maybe even be little you to get you to sign the contract that day and take your money before you leave.
