I recently after much research on the internet bought a Borg Warner 1356 transfer case form Mona @ everdrive.com I was a little nervous about doing so at first. But after talking with Mona she explained there so called policy's and made me feel comfortable about the service and warranty practices, So I purchase the unit. She said it would be here in about a week. It arrived about 10 days from the day I ordered it. Everything looked fine, clean primed for paint and ready to go.Until I was ready to start the installation. The unit was the wrong one, the shift linkage connection was not correct.

I called Mona and again she was a great help I explained the situation and was then transferred to another department I believe warranty to speak with Misty again I explained the situation. She asked me to send her some digital photos and as soon as she got the she would call me back.

And now the rest of the story nothing nada all day I waited until almost 5 pm my time to call Mona to see if she knew what was going on. She stated she talked to Misty and she had two lines on hold and would call me shortly. NO call!

Next morning I call Misty message 1 no response about noon another message no response this went on all day yesterday no response I do have to say the last message was not pleasant. oh left one for Mona to but response. I paid 549.00 for this boat anchor and this is my only vehicle. I am currently unemployed and could not afford to fix this in the first place. I would seriously suggest staying away from this scam of a company and buy from someone local. Even if it will cost a little more.

I should have done some reasearch on the company first there are allot of complaints out there for this company. Buyer be very afraid of these people!!!!!!

Everdrive.com ripoff company-fraud on warranty, sells junk

Everdrive.com is a total fraud who sells junk and makes you believe is good stuff by promissing a 3 yr. warranty and 1 year of labor warranty.  After selling, they don't ever want to deal with you. I just purchased a transmission priced $1400 and thought it was quite a big amount but the warranty that they list and tell you ablut convinced me to but it.  Now that I am having problems with the junk that they sold me, they are refusing to validate the warranty and not giving me an specific or clear explanation. I complied with request to have the transmission installed by an ASE certified shop. They gave me the run around for about two weeks before they decided to tell me that my warranty was not validated because the invoice the mechanic wrote was not specifyoing all the guidelines specified in the warranty package.  They hung up the phone on me, very rude, just told me they would not accept any more paperwork from the mechanic or myself.  I am looking into taking it to my attorney.  I paid $700 for installation as well to just let it go like nothing. I will also report this to better business bureau.  My credit card company is not doing and arbitration for me.  Please be careful and review all reviews before on any company you look up in the internet; you should rather pay more and but at a local store or junk yard.
