  1. I think everest ripped off medical  assistant class 2009-2010 because of inadequate scheduling of classes moving from one room to another almost every other day .Typng class instructor absent for at least two or three days at a time throughout the nine months without notifying students ahead of time, so we sit in class trying to learn on our own and then when we do get and instuctor they have no clue of what chapter were on. know it was a lot of lack of communication with co-workers and communicating with students it was very obvious to us. we find out when we walk into class that there would be no instructor for that day. lab class we suppose to wear lab coats instructor a lot of times never walked around to veiw student practing vitals or injections blood draws we could have been doing it wrong and someone could have got injured . some didnt know the proper procedure and passed on.  . there were times where other students  sign in students on the roster that was counted presnt but not there ive seen that done many of times . there was one individual was passed on that barely did her work and the instructor passed her on,i bet if you ask instructor for all the work the student supposed to have she could not vouch for it. this facility was very unorganized. we applied for loans for this education at the beginning and now we have no jobs to pay back loans. My extern site was in a chiropractor office ,never told us we had that choice  we were told that we will either be in a clinic, hospitals, nursing home for health care providers practicing skills that we studied such as ekgs, laboratory screenings, dieases, pathogens etc. i feel chiropractor office was inappropiate for the feild i majored in( medical assistant). because we didnt view or studied much about working with chiropractors. I think we were just threw in places because they have too many students trying to make as much money off as many students they could. i think they were understaffed and overcrowded with students. and they had told us they would find our extern sites but instead when it was time for it they told us we would have to find it for ourselves so we were handed a sheet that required us to go out and find sites that was presented to us from this meeting. and in this meeting were representatives of everest   but in my case they put me in this chiropractor site because i told her the sites that i went to was not excepting externs. besides they didnt even let us have the actual  opportunity to toss our hats at graduation (seriously) they did not,  after all that we been through. It was like we got your money dont have time for you anymore goodby.

"Excepting externs?"

#3Consumer Suggestion

Tue, August 30, 2011

It is no wonder such sites weren't "excepting externs" since your grammar, punctuation, and spelling are so bad.  It really makes you look "ghetto".  It makes you look like you never finished high school.  I wouldn't hire you either.
