If Any one else has been scammed by Everest College in IL Please contact 800-243-0618 or www.IllinoisAttorneyGeneral.gov And make your complaint. They advised me that all credits were transferrable to continue my education and they are NOT. They give every student the same BS loans and do not fullfill job placement. They do not do criminal or drug screening they take any one and everyone. If you go to go back to school to a community college you have to start over as if you were never their so why should we have to pay for it we wasted a year on nothing. Please contact Consumer Fraud of IL and file a complaint also file one with www.edu.gov stop this school from doing this. They dont care about the students as long as they get their money. There are many lawsuits and blogs on the school for this hundreds of students are stuck paying for this. Lots have been refunded but they got lawyers and won the lawsuit. Do your research!!!!

No real-world results......

#2Consumer Suggestion

These "schools" just keep on thriving despite the fact that they deliver no REAL WORLD results. I graduated from one of these jokester institutions and I got no respect from employers and NONE of the credits were transferable, NOT ONE(the "Business" program).....heck, not even Community Colleges considered them. I didn't think that the course material was up to University standards(read:REAL University) anyhow. It was high-school, general level content at best;meaning I was already learning at a higher level whilst in high-school. All of these PRIVATE Skoolz are the same. Whether it be DeVri, Pheonix, Everzest, CDI, whatever(Same junk, different name). I learned the hard way. If the school is STATE/PROVINCIALLY FUNDED credits normally transfer. Employers usually respect TRADITIONAL schools a heck of a lot more. What looks better to you, MBA U of T- 6 years, OR "MBA" College of Everst Institute of Technology 6 Months! I actually asked major Universities(with a good reputation), if they accepted credits from certain institutions.....that is a good way to assess the credibility of a school. These places are raping the credentials that students receive and they are flooding the market with useless resumes. My experience and all of my classmates experiences were nothing short of horrible. There is no easy way out, the credits will not transfer and employers really do know what is going on. Don't fall for the glitzy commercials and ads. Avoid the 6 month-12 months short cut because it IS NOT a short cut. It will cost you precious time and lots of money in the long run. I learned the hard way and I just want to help other people out. Go Public AVOID Private. Avoid being taken in by their marketing and the alluring short-cuts. If it's advertised to death on TV, chances are it is a sham. Call other traditional schools to see if they accept the credits. And ASK employers what they really think. Better safe then SORRY!!!!!!!
