Everest Consumer Services (Wachovia Bank) ripoff Credit Card Scam Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Everest Consumer Services is a mojor Fraud. They got me in Late may for $299 with the promise of helping to re-establish credit with a $2500 limit MasterCard. I asked them who the issuing bank was and they replied Charter 1 Bank.
They also stated that if I changed my mind I could cancel the debt to my checking account. I went along with it but, did try to find info on them on the internet and came across nothing.
When the fee was taken I waited two weeks and then called to find out where it was in processing. It was not until July 10 that I saw the posting of the fraud info. I have filed for a reversal with my bank and am awaiting the outcome.
I have also talked with my local law enforcement and advised how to proceed if the bank can not remedy the situation. NETCHEX is the name on the draft that was submitted. I will update as to what happens.

I have spoken with my Bank and they have submitted the reversal for the charge on my account. They will post my funds back once they have been credited back for the charge.
I also called CCR (Client Care Relations) the third party that takes the calls for everest and was never able to get past the reps to speak to an actual supervisor. They would only notate the account and then disconnect when I persisted to speak to a manager. I was able to have one of them advise that they are in Montreal, Canada. and got the address supposedly of Everest.
The address given is 235 Peachtree Street Atlanta, GA 30303. However, no yellow page listing could I find when i searched it on the internet with this information. I am now waiting in anticipation that the bank will get thier credit and the funds will go back on dseposit in my account.
