EVEREST INSTITUTE TIGARD Scam Institute BEWARE!!They Lied to past students by promising them jobs, just to make a commission. They discriminated against me, when I got upset about the way I was treated they exspelled me and kept my tuition. Portland, , Oregon
BEWARE!!! OF THE EVEREST SCAM!!! I HAVE BEEN INFORMED VERY WELL BY PAST STUDENTS AND GRADUATES FROM EVEREST INSTITUTE TIGARD, OR. What they have told me is that they were lied to promised jobs. I went to Everest for 1 month, and 1 week got straight A's. If you set appointments to meet with staff, they never show up. They all have attitudes like they are better than you, when the students are the ones paying their salary. The faculty consists of previous students who couldn't get jobs in the coding industry. They charge 13000 to become certified in something you can do easily on your own. When you question them or try to complain to Corporate, they ex spell you and keep your money along with the $2000 they charge you for the cheap books that only cost $50 to make.

I came upon this forum quite by accident today, and was quite shocked by the "Rip-Off Report" sent re:Tigard campus 2009. I am a current student of the MA program, and have faced many medical issues during this time, forcing me to take more than one medical leave of absence. My experience at Everest-Tigard Campus, as been quite the opposite of the former student. I have found the entire staff to be more than helpful, professional, compassionate, and have gone way beyond their "call of duty", to make sure that all my needs were met. I have found the curriculum to be outstanding, the teachers both knowledgable, and well qualified in their field. Yes, it is true that the program is expensive, but have been more than satisfied in the education I have received here. Robert Yates, the DOA of our campus, has been especially helpful, and sensitive to my individual needs, and has handled them with great professionalism, and promptness. I would recommend this campus for anyone seeking education in any of the fields offered here. It is due to my personal satisfaction that I felt the need to respond, and defend, any negative feedback, past or present, that they have received. Yes, it is also true that the job search currently is tough in this economy. However, I have already begun to receive counsel re: my upcoming internship, advice on my resume',guidance towards my preferred fields of interest, and have no doubt that I will come out employed and satisfied in my new career. Thanks for listening.-an MA student
