Complaint Review: Everest University of Orange Park FL

 I graduated in 2010. I lived over an hour from the school and this was common for most others in my class. We were told to come get our degree after graduation day. I was told I wouldn't get mine till I paid $100+ to them for something. So, 3 days later I hand over the money and then told I owed $300+ for something else! Trying to keep my cool, I let them know that would take me over a week to get. I was assured that was fine. It wasn't. I came back, now 3 weeks after graduation and 3 separate visits (not a cheap trip) money in hand! Waited almost 30 minutes only to be told "They no longer had it on file". After many deep breaths, we worked out that they could mail me the Degree. Never happened. I called multiple times, went to the post office (because they blamed the post!) Then went up there again. ALWAYS the same answer NEVER a degree. 6 years. This year they actually said it wasn't possible and they could send me transcripts. I hung up. I did the 2 year Medical Assistant program. Promised help finding a job, NOPE. Promised I'd be making $30k a year to start. That never happened, how could it when they won't give me my degree?! I was also told around $15k I would owe, but I guess that was with Florida Metro University. I owed $30k . I'm now in debt OVER that because of interest and consolidation of the loans. NO DEGREE. Please I will gladly go to court to settle this. Honestly, no one in town respects them. I don't wanna be so far in debt for something I never possessed.
