It demoralizes the frauds when you send trash in the envelope. Plus, it costs them money.

An empty envelope works OK.

But, I like to send a bunch of trash in my envelopes. Food trash. Banana peel. Dead goldfish. Empty the ashtray into the envelope. You get the idea.

When you do that, you're not just wasting their money. You're also sending a message loud and clear.

You're showing the crooks exactly what you think about them and their stupid con game.

Can you imagine exactly how they would feel if everybody sent trash instead of money? They'd get the message real fast. The frauds spent good money setting up this con, and all they have to show for it is a bunch of stinky trash and rotten food scraps.

A few days of that, and they'd be returning to the workforce like a normal person!

YES!!! send the business reply envelope back empty so it eats into their profits by a few cents

Did you enter this sweepstakes? If not, (and maybe even if you did) yes, its a scam. Best case scenario is you will never hear from them again. Worst case is problems for years to come as you deal with fraud, identity theft, or any number of other problems. Rip it up and throw it away. Or do what I do with those types of things and send the business reply envelope back empty so it eats into their profits by a few cents.

2 questions for you. How can you win a sweepstakes that you did not even enter?

Here are two questions for you to determine whether or not this is a scam:

1) Did you enter a sweepstakes where there was a prize for $667,519.00?

2) Did the form ask for any kind of bank account information, or that you send a "processing fee" to process your claim?

If the answer to #1 is no, and the answer to #2 is yes, then this is a scam. Better yet, if you answered "no" to #1, then you may as well consider it a scam. How can you win a sweepstakes that you did not even enter?

My advice is to shred the document you got in the mail.
