I used EVO merchant services for a couple of years and left when I found better rates with a competitor, Hearltand.  The company official, Caleb Rydbeck and his assistant, Leora Harbor, both agreed by phone and in emails to waive the early termination fee and close the account.

For 5 months now the company keeps withdrawing monthly service fees even though I have processed no transactions.  Every month it happens I call and email to complain.  They have responded in email that yes, it was a mistake, they will make sure it does not happen again and will refund the fees pulled in error.

Now they quit responding to emails and phone calls.  My only option is to close my bank account.  I don't expect great service from a merchant processor but I do expect someone to live up to their written words.
