Complaint Review: Evoice

I had signed up for their so-called free trial for my former employer - using my credit card.  The nineth day of the "free trial" was the last day of my position in that company and they had decided not to move forward with Evoice due to the liminted functionality as compared to other companies.

I emailed Evoice on my last day at work.  I told them to cancel the account.  They never cancelled my account and had gone ahead and taken almost $50.00 from my account that I didn't notice.

The following month, they took another (almost) 50.00 from my card.  When I discovered that charge, I contacted them through thier website and, once again, cancelled the account.

The third month, another charge for the same amount.  I called them and spoke with customer service.  He assured me that this time my account was really cancelled and told me that he "put in for a refund" for the latest charge (it was charged 11/3 for services in advance and I called 11/4).  The customer service agent told me that it would be 5 business days.  On the 6th day I called back.

The next person I spoke with told me it was 10 days and that I should have the refund by Friday of that week.  Friday came, no refund.  I called again and spoke with a third person.

The third person told me that the refund should be processed by Monday and to call back if it is not.

Today is Monday.  No refund so, of course, I call again.  The fourth agent now tells me that it takes 7 - 15 business days.

They received almost 150.00 for a service that was 1. cancelled before the free trial and 2. never used.... never once after the first 2 days of the trial.

I am warning all of you right now, do not do business with Evoice!  I am contacting the BBB and posting this everywhere I can find to try to save anyone else from this mistake I made.  They steal money and they just put you off and put you off.
