Complaint Review: Evoligy (aka) Sleep Zone

This complaint is NOT about the all Sleep Zones but concerning the fact that there is organized crime occuring under the assumed name of Sleep Zone. I want to first mention We bought a 1400.00 mattress from the Sleep Zone in the Indpls Home Show on 1/27/08-we were told 7-10 days shipping. After 2 wks we began to call and the excuses statred to roll. There 1st one was there location out of Missouri was hit by a m,aj snow storm and they couldnt get their trucks out. We ckd and no such storm existed. Then another person named Philip said he would take care of us and get me a answer and said the storm was a lie. We never heard back and he wont answer the ph. My threats to report them as a scam finally got me another call from philips boss who sd he had been out for a while and sometimes philip doesnt take care of things. This persons name I missed but did not sound like a upper management customer service. Again a promise to get right back to me and I have never yet. I am NEVER able to get a live person on ANY phone I call and have begged pushed pleaded and finally threatened to get a response with NOTHING. I call the credit card comp - thank God I used it and not a ck and they said because they have attempted to deliver SOMETHING it may fall in between the cracks of me stopping payment as they may say they are still attempting to get me the bed. I told Visa I didnt want it and needed to go local for one now as I cant wait that long and thats when they said I might be in trouble as the invoice I singed having NOT read the fine print says ANY refusal after monies reach there accounting dept will incure a 50% restocking fee. Visa agreed thats not likely legal but they are not the justice dept and only seek mediation between two parties and money that has changed hands.

I was told by a owner of 4 Sleep Zone stores in TN that he has heard over the years of this happening 5-6 times with very upset people and the same stopry except it has normall went on much longer ,and that they are working out of strip malls and then leave after a few months. They represent themselves well, as they did with us but they are crooks. Upon calling The state fair grounds I learn that last year they were under 2 names of Evoligy and Sleep Zone. The address shown for them is different than what Sleep zone is at now which by the way was very difficult to find as its not on any paper work or website. The fair grounds proceeds to give me this years address of Sleep Zone and I confirmed is in the same city as Evoligy. The fair grounds also told me that when they came to book another yr in the show they reminded them of the name they were undre last yr but wanted it to just be Sleep Zone this yr.

I use the address to finally find this Sleep zone is also in a small strip mall in Wichita KS and when I call and speak to the manager of the mall and I am told they are on a very short lease and in a part of the mall with no real public window and wher most people do not even know they are there. This is exactly what the owner of the Stores in TN told me the scamming companies under sleep zones name does. I called and complained to the fair grounds and was informed that if a company shows proof of insurance and pays thats all they must do. They called them for me to voice their and my complaint with still a DIFFERENT ph number then I have found and reached a Todd George which talked so fast he couldnt even tell him what my complaint was and Todd insisted he would call me immediately and resolve any issue. That was 2 hrs ago and I dont plan on holding my breath.
I called the FBI and was told to post this complaint on a website that gathers complaints nation/world wide then when enough build up under one company the Justis dept hands it to someone like the FBI. The FBI has a 300,000.00 limit so for their involvement it takes more. The duty agent told me to file a BBB report, File a report to both our city police dept and their in Wichita KS. Cities have White Collar crime units and state laws are more stiff.

He told me to notify whoever I could so if multiple people are being effected the Justis dept will get wind of it. The website for this is www.ic3.gov
Im not going to let these people go if they are proven out to be crooked even if they do finally ship me a bed which I was told those that cause a big enough problem will finally get it so to get them off their backs.
All thats left for evil and wrong to win is for good people to do nothing !!
