We went out to look at the english bulldogs Evonne Denney, Diamond Acres Kennels, had available in Rockwall. We went home to talk about this huge dicission before we returned on May 10th, 2006 and purchased a female english bulldog for $2000 from Mrs. Denney.

When we asked about the papers she told us that since the dog was from Europe, it could take upto 5 months to receive them from FCI. She then showed us a tatoo on the dogs belly to prove she had been imported, leaving us no room for doubt. While we were talking to her, she mentioned she had a male pug. I have a female and asked her if she would be interested in providing a stud service.

So, when my female came into heat, I tried to contact her via internet and phone with no answer. So my husband and I decided to drive to her house in Rockwall because we were afraid our pug would go out of heat and we would not have a chance to breed her.

When we arrived at her home, we learned she had moved. The man across the street told us she had moved out about 2 months prior to our arrival. We then became worried, as we were not given a forwarding address, that we would not receive our papers for our bulldog. We emailed and called her to make sure everything was alright, but still got no response. My neice, with a different last name, was able to find her new address in Ft Worth online and left a message that SHE was interested in buying a dog. Evonne contacted her and set up a date for her to come see the dogs, which my husband and I were going to attend aswell.

We decided against going out there because we weren't sure that was the past way to handel the situation. Instead, we had our neice call her agin with us on the line which was when I was finally able to talk to Evonne. My dog has red mange and eye problems that will result in surgery once the red mange clears up. I have been told by 3 vets that both are genetic, but Evonnne told me that I just didn't know much about dogs or I would know that wasn't true.

I should have received papers by October 10th, but still do not have them. We have continued to try and contact Evonne with out any response by both phone and email serveral times. I have contacted a lawyer to take her to small claims court because she will not cooperate. The lawyer told me to send a letter through US mail and one certified. He said if I could get ahold of the other people with complaints against her we may be able to stop her from doing this to someone else and get some money back as with out papers the dog isn't worth more than pet quality. As much money as I have been out on vet bills, pet quality to me is no more than $300.

FUTURE BUYERS BEWARE: Future buyers should be informed that Evonne is NOT a reputible breeded or inporter of dogs (tatoo or not)and that she does NOT stand behind her word even though she claims to be a Christian.

IF WE ALL STAND TOGETHER WE CAN STOP THIS WOMAN!

If you would like to be a part of the lawsuit, please send an email of you experience and a contact # to (((ROR REDACTED EMAIL FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)))

Evonne you claim you are reputable, yet all you do in your reply to the original complaint against you is pat yourself on the back and claim this "contract" protects you and your company from all responsibility which is not true. Any contract also requires *YOU* to fulfil your part of the bargain and it sounds like you didn't in this case. The original complaint indicates they went through all the right channels to try to get ahold of you. Instead of patting yourself on the back, why don't you answer the following:

1. Why does the purchaser of this bulldog not have her paperwork yet?

2. Why did they have such a difficult time contacting you (repeated emails and phone calls) and you never alerted them to the fact that you moved?

Any professional business would not make such a long-winded reply patting themselves on the back and claiming they have *no* responsibility for anything based on the fact there was a contract involved. If you were a legitimate breeder, you would have kindly responded to the original complaint explaining why there was no response to emails and phone calls and where the paperwork is on the dog!

Sounds like a rather shady business in my opinion! I wish you good luck on getting this solved Tesa!

So if You visit our Web site at Diamond Acres Kennel, You will Not only find Our Legally Binding Contract, that ALL~ of our Buyers Sign. But also an "About Us" Page, "Satisified Customers" Page, Disclaimer, & our Health Guarantee for ALL~ to see!! We have always~ provided registration papers at all~ times! We are not Only Personal Breeders, but We also import from Europe in order to bring in New Champions, & to better & improve the breed!! If this Woman Contact Us for papers, than she would have received them within 5 months, as this is what Our Contract states that it takes!! But so far, I have not found her Signed Contract in our records. It is also Our Regulations that ALL~ Buyers MUST~ return Our legally Binding Contract, with Her Signature, & a Signature from her Vet to prove the puppy is in perfect health when she receives it, and We should have also received a Report from her Vet, which of course We NEVER~ have received either!!! So PLEASE~ Ask for Proof from people that try to give Lame reports!! Because We sure have'nt~ seen any Reports or a Signed Contract from this person at all!! Please feel free to Contact Us, or Visit our Kennel at any~~ given time, so You can see for yourself that We ARE~ the Reputable Breeders that We claim to be for over 14 years of Business!!
