the check engine light was on, car was taken in and parts were replaced, but check engine light came back on within a day. took the car back. Ewing Mercedes of plano, also called ewing autohouse, also called MB of plano, check the car, after testing they said the light problem is fixed on 03/15/2011. but the light came back on again, took the car in for another check, and the mechanic stated that the part was faulty and needs replacement, but the service adviser named bonnie Beck interfered and said that because of prior complaint the part will not be replaced unless we pay again. this was in April 2011.

took the car back again to fix the check engine light, after four days of testing they claimed that the cause of check engine light can not be found. they delivered the car back to us without any fixes, or replacing mass air flow sensor which they said is faulty. they refused faulty part replacement. a review was filed by us at dealerrater.com on 08/19/2011, and their GM Kim Patterson contacted me to resolve the issue, but then I was threatened, that in retaliation for my review, they no longer will service my car, and that will not replace the faulty part, nor they will refund the cost of parts, and repairs amounting to over $3,000.00.

follow up e mails to the GM, has gone unanswered, prompting to file this complaint warning others of this dealer's service practices. next step is to complaint to the office of Texas attorney general' consumer division for deceptive  practices, and then to small claims court to recover the cost of parts and damages so another dealer can properly fix the car.
