Complaint Review: Exact Data Consumerbase

I hired Exact Data aka Consumerbase to acquire and deploy 25,000 emails. Exact Data aka Consumerbase never gave me any email addresses nor report as contracted. These were specific emails and they were all suppose to be validated. They never delivered a final report and I spent over $5,000.00. I asked for just ONE single report of delivery and they never provided it. I NEVER saw one click on my end nor any additional traffic. I waited two weeks to resolve this. I contacted several people in my industry; that should have received an email. They never received anything.

I just wanted to work it out; however, Exact Data aka Consumerbase never replied. I called almost EVERYONE in the organization to get results on a daily basis. Here are their names of the Exact Data employees contacted in on way or another:

In defense of Larry Organ, he did call back once. However, he never returned my second call. Also, Madeline Cassato did email me once. All others just seem to pass the buck. Also, I did try to reach Howard Breen, Chairman, with no return call. I did not expect much from upper management; but they need to direct their employees.

In the end, I was told "Buyer Beware" by my sales rep and I will see you in court. So, I would recommend, "Buyer Beware." You should search Exact Data and Consumerbase. They changed their name from Consumerbase to Exact Data. As my attorney advised, this was done to avoid lawsuits. I then checked with the Department of Justice and the Attorney's General Office and they have NUMEROUS complaints under the name Consumerbase aka Exact Data. Also, Consumerbase aka Exact Data has a terrible review with the BBB. I wished I would have known their alias prior to my contract.

I would strongly recommend not doing business with them and do not give your credit card information. I have spoken with my credit card company and Exact Data aka Consumerbase is fighting the charges. They stated "No Guarantee on Results or Something."

I just would like the E-MAIL addresses to validate them! Also, you can find reports at the site that starts with YOU and many government sites. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!!

ONCE AGAIN: They may change their company name again to avoid charges. They are currently Exact Data aka Consumerbase. I want you to be careful of these con artist.

In closing, I would like to know if anyone else has been hurt. I would like to form a class action suit. However, it is hard to get in touch with the victims. Please post your situation and perhaps we can get a suit together against Exact Data aka Consumerbase or any of these people committing fraud:
