Complaint Review: Excel Collision Centers

I had been in a minor collision and needed a few minor repairs done to my gas tank and front bumper. I took my RX 8 to these guys under the recommendation of the the dealership. To make a long story short they completely screwed up my car. First they said that i needed a new gas tank because the original was damaged. So after a week they call me and say its done. Right! I go to pick my car to find a huge scratch on my car and the moon roof not working. I was so pissed i just drove off before i got into a fight with someone. After filling up my gas tank on the way home i noticed a strong smell of gas in the car. I called the owner to let him know about it so he tells me to take the car back in and get another rental. but i didnt trust this company so i just went home. After about a week i managed to unjam my moon roof which they claimed was due to a bad motor but it was due to built up dirt which simply needed to be washed out. as for the scratch i just had it buffed and waxed. But the gas tank was still messed up. i couldnt fill up my tank because the entire care smelled so bad i would get a head ache. after about a month or two i couldnt take it anymore. the bumper work they did was falling apart the gas tank was so screwed up i woke up one day with my kids crying because the entire house smelled like gas because i parked the car in the garage. so i took it back to these guys. this time it took them four days to fix it and i also had asked them to fix a dinger and scratch on the drivers door. After picking up my car the seconed time around i noticed another scratch on my car. They got the dent out but i still had a huge scratch on the door. so i had to go back in there and ask them to get the scratch out again and the front desk lady starts to get an attitude as if i was wrong. Now after getting my gas tank fixed, the bumper,and scratches taken care of. Now my engine light in flashing. Whenever i try to put my foot on the gas my engine goes beserk. This never happened until i put my car in the hands of these guys. And by the way i had 29,611 miles on my car when i dropped it off when i picked it up i had 29,624 miles. i wonder where they drove my car. If you ask me these guys dont pay attention to detail and definitley dont take good car of your car. i will never again put my car in their hands without my constant supervision. They are lazy and they have people working there who dont speak english. its hard to trust people you cant communitcate with and get an attitude when you expect the best out of them.
