I looked around for tickets to the Blue Man Group in Minneapolis on the internet. It was flooded with ads from resellers and I stumbled upon excite.com and purchased 2 tickets for nearly $265. Less than 2 hours later, I came across ticketmaster and saw that the exact same tickets (seats next to the ones I bought) were selling for $170 total. Ticketmaster happened to be the primary seller for the tickets. What a ripoff!

I tried contacting the customer service, they were rude (the online rep, phone rep and her manager "Cooper") and refused to do anything about it. They cited the usual BS like "policy", "sales are final", "sold by 3rd party". Eventually they got even more rude and said things like, "we get calls from people like you everyday"... implying that I was certainly not the first one to complain. And their attitude from the very beginning was that of seasoned jerks. Like they were trained to shut customers up that had genuine issues. When asked for his company's name and supervisor's contact, this Cooper-chap hung up on me.
