Exclusive Auto Carriers is the auto transport brokerage from hell. Everywhere you look their reviews speak of deception, fraud, and scam.

These little scamsters enjoy listing fictitious orders on the national dispatch board load. These are customer "leads" that were never officially confirmed as orders by the customers whose information they purchased from a third party vendor. They do this in an effort to get the jump on any legitimate broker who might rightfully secure the customer's business.

Exclusive Auto Carriers is your typical boiler room scam operation that suckers unweary consumers in the door with a low-ball quote and then pulls a bait-and-switch tactic in order to increase the price, once it is painfully obvious that no carrier is interested in the  insubstantial bid that they initially quoted the customer and represented it as a bonafide price.

The end result is one pissed-off consumer who is now afraid to trust ANY broker in this industry.

On more than one occasion I have crossed paths with the vermin that work in this telemerketing call center boiler room scam operation and each time has been increasingly unpleasant.

It is only a matter of time before their lies and scams will have caught up with them and they will inevitably have their broker's license revoked by the FMCSA.

Here are just a few testimonials as to their dishonesty:

Review: Booked 2 vehicles to ship from ventura ca to ft mcdowell az, all was set pickup date and delivery, the quote was 295 per vehicle and payment was agreed upon. These vehicles were set for an auction and would cost aprox 2000 if not delivered on time. The day before pickup I was contacted by a rep for exclusive carriers and told they could not do the job for the agreed price of 295 per vehicle and it would cost me 450 per vehicle or no pickup, since it was one day before my pickup I was screwed I paid the new rate I would never use this broker service again and you shouldnt either ,piss poor business practice

An Honest Review - Please Read for your Sake
Review: I am writing this review because I want to help other customers avoid the potential hassle, distress and monetary loss that I experienced in dealing with Exclusive Auto Carriers.

My initial point of contact was Andy Samartino. He explained that I would have to put down a fully refundable deposit that would be applied towards my total payment once a driver was arranged. Neither turned out to be true. First, he arranged for a driver to pick up my car prior to the date that was agreed upon and before my car was available to be shipped. When I declined to use this driver due to the fact that my car wasn't yet ready to be shipped, he charged my debit card for the deposit. When I confronted him about this, he was dishonest and deceitful about what had happened and claimed that I had forfeited the money based on the terms of our agreement (which was a farce).

I finally got through to the man in charge, Nick, who seemed like a nice guy. I explained to him the situation over the phone and he seemed to empathize with my situation- he promised that he would reimburse me immediately. After a week passed with no reimbursement, I got through to Nick again (which is no easy task) and he lamented the fact that I had not yet received the reimbursement, once again promising to get it to me immediately. It has been three months since I last spoke with Nick. The people who work there now screen and dodge my calls, of which I've made over 25 from two separate numbers. They refuse to speak with me whatsoever.

In addition, I did end up getting my car shipped by another company for $400 less than Exclusive was quoting me. I was told that the price they were quoting me was the lowest possible price and when I questioned Andy about this, he flipped out and berated me in a most unprofessional fashion.

There are plenty of other details I could share but I think the experiences I've shared above are sufficient to make the point. These guys may sound charming and helpful over the phone, but they are not trustworthy businessmen. IF YOU WISH TO AVOID LOSING MONEY, WASTING TIME AND BEING MISTREATED I suggest you choose another company to ship your vehicle.

Military Move

Review: In September I was contacted by Andy about moving my husbands car from FL to OR for our military PCS. He reassured me everything would go smoothly- we had a pickup date, delivery estimate but no driver yet. My husband and I contacted Exclusive Auto Carriers about 7 times before the moving day (Friday Sept. 13th) because we were never given a driver. On the day the packers are at our house, they ignored every phone call and e-mail and we never heard from them. We went home for a few days to Jacksonville where we decided, very angrily, that we would have to find another company. We did and they shipped my husbands Escape with no problems. However, on our drive out to Oregon, 3,300 miles from home, Andy calls me TWO WEEKS AFTER our car was supposed to be picked up from Panama City Beach with "great news" that they finally had a driver. I quickly told him we were already in LA.. this was a MILITARY MOVE we did not have two weeks to wait! He hung up the phone on me and the NEXT DAY charged my card $150. We have disputed the charge with Navy Federal but it's still sitting on my credit card, which I adamantly pay off every month. Two months later I'm still fuming at how this company runs their business and I would never recommend them. The adaucity to charge a young military family because of their incompetence is just outstanding and I have no respect for people like these.

Scam Artist

Review: They took the money out of my credit card on Fri and never give me a detail of the driver. The agreement was to deduct the money once the car is picked up from FL. They are liars and their contract says non-refundable. Such scam artists!!! All they said is they will give me a driver on Sunday which never happened. I tried calling them MOn and Tues and never heard from them.

Please don't use them this Tony is a liar and they are all scammers. You will never hear from them after they take the money out from credit card. Karma will come to you guys...

Subject: Bad business practice
Review: I had contacted exclusive about transporting my Suburban from California to New York. They were very helpful before I made payment for their broker fee. After paying the fee upfront I had a difficult and sometimes impossible time trying to communicate with them voicemail was full no one returned my calls when they said they would and they never secured a driver for the transport. I have since learned that the broker fee is paid after the broker secures a driver for your shipment. When I finally was able to speak with the broker and expressed my dissatisfaction with their service and requested my deposit back he hung up the phone on me.
This company is a joke.
Review:

I received a call from someone name Michelle from this company that I trusted to take care of my car moving plans, I then started hear from someone by the name of Gina. I first advised them that I wanted my vehicle picked up on 08/08/13 because I had some things to do to the vehicle before it was shipped. I then got a call back stating that there was someone that day that was able to get the vehicle when I clearly stated that I wanted it picked up on 08/08/13. I then received an email from Gina on 08/07/13 providing me with the drivers name and contact informat and the vehicle was going to be picked up on 08/08/13 as I requested. On 08/08/13 I got a call from a female stating they would be there on 08/09/13 to pick up the vehicle so on 08/09/13 I contacted the female that was providing information about the driver because the driver would not answer his phone. The female then stated that the driver wouldnt have been able to make it until Sunday because he was in Mississippi and something happen with the transmission on his truck,at this point I'm upset but kept calm. I contacted Exclusive Auto to advise them of what I was told. Gina seemed to not care what was happening. She then states that she was going to contact the company and then contact me back, I never got a call back so I called her back and then she stated that she didnt hear anything from the driver. It would have been nice for her to contact me to give me updates. About an hour later I got a call back from the company that they contracted with and was advised that the driver would still have been able to make it that day around 5 or 6. The driver finally called after I inquired with the female that was doing all the calling on why he was not answering. The driver then stated that he was in Houston then he had to go to Loredo then he was going to be on his way to pick up my vehicle.

I then got a call about 8:30 on 08/09/13 from the driver stating that he wasnt going to be able to make it could he come on 08/10/13 when the dates kept changing I then knew something was up. On 08/10/13 I contacted the driver to see if he would still be at my home to pick up the vehicle between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. he then stated no but shortly afterward, I then asked him would it be by 3 p.m. he stated no maybe by 5 p.m.. I then contacted the driver around 3:30 to see if he was still on track for the time he stated. He then stated that he would let me know in about an hour because he was at a shop in San Antonio. I then advised the driver that all the excuses were ridiculous and I cancelled plans and even missed work under the impression that he was going to pick up my vehicle. Then driver then called again stating that Exclusive Auto would have to find someone else because he couldnt do it because now the engine blew in his truck. I am thinking how could you go from the transmission to the engine. I then sent emails out on Monday morning advising Michelle and Gina of what happened. Michelle did send a response back stating that she was going to forward it to the manager and the manager would have called me first thing on Monday morning. Around 10 am I contacted Gina and advised her that the vehicle was never picked up and she didnt seem to concern she just stated well we will put it back on the board.I then said do you not want to hear what happen? I then explained the story to her but I could tell that she was not really interested in hearing about what happened and all the excuses.

Well I called back several times that day and still there was not a driver. I called back on Tuesday which was 08/13/13 I was advised that they had a driver but they had to cancel that driver. I then contacted the company and advised them that I wanted to cancel the service and I wanted a refund because I received poor service from them and have been only getting the run around.I think it may have been Amanda that I spoke with but she because argumentative. I could not tallk the way I wanted to because I was at work. I advised them that they needed to take the posting down because I had already found another compay in my area that was able to help me. I was assured that it was going to be taken down about two hours later I contacted them again to advise them to take the posting down because they were still trying to get bids for the vehicle and again they were rude. I found a company within my area and was given a driver within hours and within the same day my vehicle was on the truck ready for shipping. Please do not use Exclusive Auto Carriers. I think that this is a company that is full of scams and just makeup that they have drivers to haul your vehicle when they really dont.

This is an updated from the previous post. AfterI posted this review not an hour later I got a call from this company. I am thinking that once a review is submitted the company gets some kind of alert or something or the may just have someone to watch the website all day. I was advised that I would receive a refund and which I did see the refund posted to my account this morning. But I was asked by the guy that called would I remove my review since I would be receiving a refund would I remove my review, my response to him was maybe. Well I will not be removing my review because other consumers need to be aware of the things that this company is doing. I wonder how many other potential customers they have asked to do that after they have tried to scam them. I think that this company has no good morals or values.

THEY ARE LIARS AS WELL AS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS
Review: I POSTED A REVIEW EARLIER ABOUT THE AGREEMENT THAT I HAD WITH EXCLUSIVE AUTO CARRIERS. WELL I GOT A EMAIL SAYING I USED BAD LANGUAGE SO THEY WERE GOING TO REMOVE MY REVIEW. ANY WHO THESE PPL ARE NOT GOOD PPL TO WORK WITH THEY CLAIM THAT THEY GOT 3 DRIVERS TO MOVE MY CAR IN ALL ACTUALITY THEY DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE DRIVER. NOTE IM IN AFGHANISTAN TIL SEPT SO WHY WOULD I REFUSE 3 DRIVERS?????? IT DON'T MAKE SENSE ALL I WANTED WAS MY CAR MOVE SO I WOULDN'T HAVE DRIVER 14 HRS WHEN I GET HOME CAUSE I GOT A LOT OF TIME TO MAKE UP WITH MY KIDS INSTEAD OF SPEND MY LEAVE DAYS DRIVING A CAR FROM LA TO TX. SO BOTTOM LINE IS THESE PPL ARE LIARS DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. OH YEAH AND THEY REFUSE TO GIVE MY DEPOSIT BACK BECAUSE OF MY LAST REVIEW SO I HAD O GO THROUGH MY BANK AND DISPUTE THE CHARGE HORRIBLE COMPANY. AS A WAR VETERAN PLEASE IF ANY OTHER VETS ARE OUT THERE AND NEED THERE CAR MOVE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO A COMPANY THAT'S TRUTHFUL AND UP FRONT WITH YOU. THX

WATCH OUT - VERY EVIL WHAT THEY DO IF YOU POST NEGATIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THEM
Review:

May 13 2013. I live in Kansas City, Missouri and had just purchased a special car for my wife, who was celebrating 10 years after being diagnosed with a brain tumor. The purchase of the car over the internet and phone went perfectly. Dealing with Exclusive Auto Carriers was a complete NIGHTMARE. It's too bad the car dealerships get such a bad reputation. I would say be careful in dealing with the transportation industry, what a mess they are. Tuesday May 13, 2013 Andy-Exclusive Auto Carriers calls me and leaves me a voicemail saying he had a guy driving a transport who could pick up my car in Georgia and leave by the end of that week. I questioned him several times and he assured me it would leave no later than 48 hours from then. The price he quoted seemed in line with industry, plus their transport reviews seemed ok as well. I committed that I would use him since he FOR SURE had someone leaving by end of week. (Keep in mind that I want to get this car to my wife as her present, as soon as I could for a reasonable fee). He then emailed me the agreement that I was to initial and sign. This agreement said in the first paragraph that by signing I was "....hiring Exclusive Auto Carriers, a licensed & bonded transportation brokerage (MC#815837) to arrange the shipping of their vehicles(s) with a licensed and insured Carrier within 10 business days from thefirst available pickup date described in the Contract." I questioned Andy about the "within 10 days" clause. I was hesitant in signing. But once again he assured me that my car would be picked up within 48 hours. I then paid him $175 as a downpayment over the phone. $350 would be due at delivery (total cost $525) Andy then said he would POST my necessity for pick up on some website transport companies use. Uh, why would you suddenly need to POST need for pickup IF you FOR SURE had a driver to pickup my car within 48 hours. I called him on this and he then said HIS driver was unable to take this trip. RIGGHHHHTTTTT!!!! He would get on the phone and make calls to get me a ride. He continued to stick with his 48 hours. Not once did he call to followup with me, apologize, and anything. Andy might me a great guy, but he LIED to me from the git go. I certainly have better things to do than right this review, but I think it is a necessity, so someone else doesn't have to go through this fiasco.

The next Monday I called another number and got in touch with Amanda, who happened to be the owner. I explained situation and she wanted to call me back. She then told me they have a transport that could pick up my car the next day, Tuesday May 21. She said I would just need to have $475 to pay transport company upon delivery of my vehicle. Uhhh, I just got bumped again from my original agreement of $350 at delivery, to $475. All of which I have verification of total fees of $525. I told her this and she wanted to call me back. She did call back and said that she reprimanded Andy and sent him home for the day and said that is not how they do business. She then said they had a transport that could pick up my car on Tuesday again. I said NO. I want my deposit back, which Amanda did do. So I appreciate her keeping her word on that. She then gave me number of transport company that could pick up my vehicle and said I could work with them directly and bypass her as the broker. I did make that call, got transport scheduled and received my car. Exclusive Auto Carriers might, in fact, be a terrific company, but it just takes one person or experience to screw it up. All I can say is be careful of anyone you choose and ask lots of questions. Although just know that the answers you receive back may not be the truth. This is a followup to my earlier post. I had written a negative review of this company earlier today. Exclusive Auto Carriers disputed that I was a customer, so I received an email from transport reviews.com stating that I must have verification that I was a customer of theirs. I sent all of the needed documents. My post is now on this site for Exclusive Auto Carriers.

Post #2:

I am now adding another post to show you the type of people whom work there (most of which are probably good people just doing there job), however, they few bad apples can spoil it for everyone else.

After I posted my honest, detailed, and accurate review of my dealings with Exclusive Auto Carriers someone in their company tried to get payback with me by taking my personal information (name, address, city, state, email address, phone) and adding to a multitude of sites saying that I wanted several different types of vehicles transported from one place in the country to another.

So by them posting that need for supposed transportation for vehicles I don't even own, I have received literally not less than 50 phone calls and unwanted emails from other brokers trying to earn my business. What they have done is harassment, using of my personal information to waste my time.

This company should not only be out of business, but they need to be prosecuted.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

All I wanted was an honest company to ship a car for my wife, and their actions have literally wasted my day with unwanted calls and emails.

I have already contacted Attorney Generals in Florida and New Jersey, as well as Dept of Agriculture & Consumer Services, and Palm Beach County Consumer Protection.
