I was so excited about this job when I found it. Admittedly I was very skeptical but it turned out to be a legitimate work from home business. HOWEVER when they give you a dream job, just to find every excuse in the world to take it from you, it isn't so great anymore is it? In the first week, I realized the pathways of communication are AWFUL. I had a graduation to attend and also had an adjustment to make to the availability I had initially put down.

After several emails and calls, I finally got in touch with HR but it wasn't long after that that I received a warning via email for my attendence. HR claimed to not have received emails as well as not been informed about the calls I made. I tried to explain that there was scheduling issues as well as make it a point to ask if 2-4mins late was unacceptable... which it was. So from that point forward, I made an effort to be on time.

MIND YOU- we are not allowed to clock in early either, so you have 59seconds to clock in or you are getting a warning. So a few weeks later, I apparently clocked in at 12:01 when scheduled for 12:00pm. I got a call that I would be receiving my 2nd warning. At this point I was so frustrated with the lack of understanding, I just hung up. Do they not realize we work online? There was ZERO leeway for my internet connection to be slow or even to reset my password to one of the systems we were using. We weren't even allowed to go to the bathroom without receiving permission first!

So here I am, needing to work at home for flexibility, with a job that is completely unflexible. I have a degree and have had several jobs in my life, I do not lack education nor am I lazy.. but things happen! That is life, and 9 out of 10 bosses, would understand that.

TURNS OUT they were apparently looking to lay people off anyway because it was a "summer position." But I was not told this. I received an 88% on my 1st review, I needed a 90% to graduate. So I started verifying more info, trying to perform better.. and they fire me over 60 seconds.

Lastly, the pay is crap. 55 hours put in and I am to receive $400. Hopefully I have no issues with that or I will be updating this report! It was something I was prepared to deal with to be working from home but with their excessively strict policies and lack of understanding, it is definitely NOT worth it.
