Complaint Review: Executive Career Moves

Executive Career Moves, which also has offices in New York City, Saddle Brook New Jersey and Berwyn, Pennsylvania is a front. It advertises "actual" jobs on many Internet job boards including CareerBuilder.com and Monster.com, but this is merely a tactic to get applicants to respond with personal information.

Executive Career Moves then contacts the respondent, ostensibly about the "job," but there IS NO JOB. They then schedule an "interview," during which they try to sell their "Services", including (taken DIRECTLY FROM THEIR WEBSITE):

"We will also develop a personalized Marketing Plan with you to set specific objectives, job strategies and goals. We will teach you how to sell yourself in today's market. We will assist you in all areas for a successful job search, including proper interviewing techniques and follow up procedures. Our research tools and databases will be made available to you and we will target those companies and industries that offer the best potential for your continued success."

This is all a crock. And it is against both the job boards' policies, and most state laws, to advertise a job and then use that advertisement to bait and switch.

These people have NOTHING to offer, and no real jobs. Their "personalized services" have been documented as total rip-offs. They prey on the most vulnerable, unemployed and often desperate people.
