Complaint Review: Executive Moble Homes

In July of 2004 my wife and I went to a local manufactured housing dealer to try and purchase a home. It was around December by the we found a home and land that price was in our budget. The dealer at that time had us to believe that once we paid our monies for a appraisal everything would be in order. However, 7 to 10 days later I got a message the answering machine
that our appraisal was not approved and they were sorry that they could not do business with us.

My family is on a very tight budget and the monies we gave to this business we beleived was an investment in our furture and were told that we would receive the monies back in our final loan. We now have no home, our money is gone and the business want even return a telephone call. What a ripoff! What can we do?
