I tried to book a hotel on expedia.com, I received and error and I was asked to call the 1800 number on the screen, after I made the call the lady on the other side of the world (expedia) asked me for my credit card information to book the hotel, after 15 minutes of trying she was not able to book the room for me, she explained that those rooms were not longer available at that price and if I wanted further help I could call them back and book from a different hotel, I decided that I did not want to deal with it anymore and did not book any room, that same day I received an email with a reservation that I did not make or order, they charge my credit card for a room twice the price that I was looking to pay and without my approval.
I called them as soon as I could to make sure they knew that this was a mistake on their part, I was shock when they told me that they could not do anything about it and that I was going to have to pay a penalty of $160.00 dollars . what a ripoff, never again.

Please stop giving your credit card info over a telephone to whom you don't even know or met in your life! It is a big mistake to think that other people will NOT use or sell your card info. You may see some charges you never make in your next statement... If you want to be causious, cancel the card and get a new one now...
