Expedia They advertised a motel on their website as a 3 star but the motel put us in a occupied room, cracked smoke filled, & a mouse in the room. Internet Internet
we booked a motel (vagabond/albuquerque) through expedia, which they advertised as a 3 star.we were first given a key to an occupied room, the second room was the scene of a crack bust by the cops, the third room had a mouse.they kept trying to give us another room & when we called expedia they repeated their offer. after three room we weren't interested in a fourth. expedia offer to book us in another motel but the area was booked.they asked me for a town, since i wasn't from nm i asked them to find a room close to albuquerque. after repeating that i needed to name a town i suggested gallup, not knowing how far from albuquerque this was. we passed several towns that had hotel's available but since expedia had charged my friends credit card we had to continue to drive, they sent us to gallup which was 131 miles. at 1014pm we had to drive this distance to a best western. the clerk there told us that a female guest had been running down the interstate naked, the cops were called.

Your problem is not with Expedia. The problem with the mouse, crack bust and occupied room are all problems that are caused and controlled by the hotel. This should be directed towards them.
As far as going to Gallup I feel for you, thats a long drive. You could have just asked the desk clerk for towns close to Albq, and I'm sure they would have been glad to give you a list of town names. If this was during balloon fiesta though, then all of the surrounding area would have been sold out too. Although You might have been able to get something in Santa Fe.
You should discuss this with Expeida though so you can get your money back from them. This needs to be done through a phone call.
Good Luck
