Expedia trying to get home to sick mother New York Internet

On June 13 i had a reservation at the Holiday Inn Express in Demopolis, Alabama. When i arrive in Alabama i found out my mother was transfer to a hospital in Selma. I call the 1-800-397-3342 expedia to cancel the reservation for the Holiday Inn Express in Demopolis June 12, 2009 and change my reservation to the Holiday Inn Express in Selma, Alabama to be closer to my mother.

The representative for expedia assure me that this would be taking care of. The reservation was change to the Holiday Inn Express in Selma, Alabama no problem. I stay there from June 13 until June 15, 2009.

When I return to New Orleans, La and check my credit card i notice that expedia charge me $219.80 for the hotel reservation in Demopolis, Alabama which i tought was cancel. I called spoke to a representative again and was assure i would received a credit. I also sent an e-mail asking for a refund on my credit card. 51895179 never received a reply.

June 30, 2009 spoke to another expedia representative and ask about a credit and was told that there were never a cancellation or no record that i had spoken with anyone. In my time of sorrow this company rip me off. I will never do business with Expedia again. If this save one person the heart ache i will be ok.
