I signed a contract on 8/23/07 with Expedite Media Group to develop my website for $7300. The payment terms were to be paid in three installments ($3650, $1825 and $1825).

As agreed, Expedite did charge my card for the three installments, with the final installment on 9/21/07. One week later they erroneously charged my card a fourth time for an additional $1825.

When I received my credit card bill in October and noticed the duplicate charge, I immediately contacted my Account Manager, Kate Issel and Nina, the Accounting Manager. They both agreed that the duplicate charge was an error on their part and assured me the credit to my card would be issued in 2 - 3 weeks.

It is now over six months later and the credit still has NOT been issued. I left numerous messages with President Mike Dirmeikis and with Nina, none of which were ever returned. I even filed a report with the Better Business Bureau, which they never responded to (which also reflects negatively against their company).

My credit card company has now been forced to investigate this fraudulent activity. Apparently legal contracts (and returning phone calls) don't mean anything to managers at Expedite Media Group.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Here is one of the rare instances where an error was made by us. The consumer is correct that he/she was inadvertently billed an additional $1,825.00 for the design of their website. In lieu of a cash refund, the consumer chose to receive three years of free hosting for their site. If you wish to verify this, you may visit their site at www.brunohunter.com.

If the consumer wishes to refresh their recollection further, with their permission, we could post copies of all their contract, billing and correspondence information showing this matter has been resolved fully.
