If you are considering signing on with Expedite Solutions out of Indianapolis, Indiana, please contact as many present and former drivers as possible before making a decision. My husband and I thought we had done our homework and fully researched this company, but you just can't account for all of the blatant lies that you are told when they are trying to get you on the hook. If everything they promised was true, it might not be a bad situation, but the truth is that there are many more honest companies out there that will not clean your plate the way these people will.

We signed on with full expectations of making at least SOME money in the expedite business. Instead, we've dipped into our savings repeatedly just to try to hang on and fulfil our contract. We believe in keeping our promises, and would like to finish out the year that we are contracted to run for ES, but the reality of it is that these people make claims that are simply untrue.

They operate by convincing husband and wife teams to sign on with them for one year, then charge between $8,000 and $10,000 to get out of the contract once you realize that you cannot survive on the percentages that they pay and the way that they structure the settlements. This leaves you in a bad situation that is exacerbated by the fact that you and your spouse have signed on as a team (they only hire same-family teams, mostly husband and wife teams), therefore the revenue from the truck is your only means of support. That means when things get bad, one of you cannot just get a job somewhere else to help make ends meet until you fulfil your contract, because the other person cannot run solo for this company.

So, you are left with 2 choices: 1) keep driving and losing money while you get behind on your bills while trying to make it through the year; or 2) leave before your contract expires and have ES take all of your savings and sue you for even more money.

The second scenario holds true even if you give 2-weeks notice and return the truck in perfect condition. If you don't give 2-weeks notice, or if they can find anything at all wrong with the truck, you'll owe them even more.

Please, please, please take all of the negative comments from REAL drivers who've posted on this site to heart and don't sign on with Expedite Solutions. We wish someone would have warned us and saved us a very difficult year. If you go through with their "training", they will tell you repeatedly that you shouldn't listen to their other drivers because they will only tell you the negatives. Well, now we know why. Most companies will welcome you to talk to their other drivers, but not these guys.

You might also want to check with the Commission for Proprietary Education for the state of Indiana (C.O.P.E). They have never heard of Expedite Solutions, even though ES claims to be a proprietary training facility.

Also check with Driver's Solutions (the Class A driving school next door to ES). Regardless of what ES tells you, Driver's Solutions seems to have washed their hands of any ties with Expedite Solutions.

Most recently, ES seems to be having problems paying their bills. They hold driver's settlements, are no longer in good standing with the T-Check system for fuel purchases, have pulled all of the toll transponders from their trucks, and even had the cable in their "driver's lounge" disconnected. Their "toll-free" emergency phone number has also been disconnected, so drivers can't even depend on contacting anyone in a timely manner if they are stranded on some remote highway. And don't bother calling the main office line, either, because you will very rarely have anyone answer the phone these days.

I hope that any potential teams will find this site before signing a contract with Expedite Solutions, will read every post and rebuttal that is here, and will at least be forewarned enough to make an informed decision.

I personally did not think of filing a report with the BBB. But now that it has been mentioned I am going to do just that! I would suggest all of you other drivers that have been scammed by ES do the same. That is one of the first things we should have done.

Thank you.

We have long dropped the notion of signing on with ES but find it amazing that they are still in the business. We don't understand how they still have a good BBB rating also.
But we do want to thank all who have stood up to this company especially when they are still under contract.Kim and I have decided to seek training on our own through a formal, ligit, i.e. a real Proprietary Education trucking school and seek employment to be team drivers for an OTR company.

Again, thank you for saving us the agony of getting scammed by these shysters.

By the way,we baited them by telling someone(a supposed employee) who forwarded an e-mail to ES, that we didn't have a great deal of money to begin with before starting training. We were told that,in so many words by ES,they didn't want to deal with people like us who are short on funds.

That sure say's alot.

What you are charged for when you quit!!

I would just like to let people know these are the things you will be charged for if you quit with ES.I just finally got answers as to what we are being charged.

1.You will be charged $128.00x2 for not giving a two week notice.
2.$3995.00 for what they call a school. That is per person.
3.$280.00 for you to stay in a house that doesn't have anything except a bed.
4.Now for the real kicker, we are being charged $215.00 x 2 for lost revenue. HE IS ACTUALLY CHARGING US FOR HIS TRUCK BREAKING DOWN. Is that the kind of person to work for? It was his fault the truck broke down to begin with, and he has the nerve to charge us for it, since we were unable to run any freight.

Now I am still trying to figure out what happened to all the money he took from us for the 3 1/2 mo. that we worked for him. Our highest pay amount was in the $700.00 range (1 time I might add), and numerous weeks we were in the negative, so that money has just disappeared now. It sure has not been applied to the amount, since he is now trying to sue us for $11,000. Far cry from the original amount stated.

For any persons looking into getting into the expediting business, THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT THE COMPANY YOU WANT TO GO WITH. As the other post state you will need another job to be able to pay your bills because you sure will not make any money with them. They will see to it that you don't and thats exactlly what they want is for you to quit, then he makes even moreoff of you.

I do think it is odd that they advertise a drivers lounge, why when it has no reception on the tv (no good there), a washer that doesnt work (no good there either), no place to even hang out since it is away from there offices as if they do not want to talk with any of their drivers. Wonder why?)

Also no working emergency lines or fuel cards, kinda goes along with what I have stated in the past post about garages refusing to look at our truck due to being on bad standings with ES as far as their paying their bills.

These are just a few more things you might want to consider when checking out this company. Also as the person stated they are very serious when they tell you not to listen to other drivers about them (even their own), they just dont want you to find out ahead of time that they will rip you off.

The guy we drive for now personally gave us phone numbers to contact his other drivers so we could find out for ourselves how he operates. That is how it should be, says something about ES if you ask me if they dont want you talking to their other drivers. And they DO tell you that when you go there, because we also got the same speech.

AGAIN this is a drivers beware regarding this company. They are lying theives. He has became a professional theif. He also can care less about his drivers, all he wants is for you to bring him in money regardless of anything else.
