My spouse paid $55 for a door-to-door scam. Salesman, AKA Allen Dyar, represented www.experiencesales.com. He sold books for donation to John's Hopkins Children's hospital and claimed that he received a cut of the money which he was using to go to London for an internship to the BBC. He also said that his mom lived in the neighborhood, and that he was a student at the University of Maryland. He promised to mow the lawn for a donation. A receipt for cash, with signature, was written and given to my spouse from "experiencesales.com." The phone number was given for his mom, but it didn't check out. We are confident that John's Hopkins Children's Hospital never received this subscription, and that this was a scam.
