I got a call from Express Information Systems about a magazine offer which they told me I would receive some gift cards for gas and groceries.   At the time it sounded like a good offer.  I found out later that these types of things are frauds, so I mailed in the cancellation form within the three day period that they required.


The form clearly said that if I cancelled in three days I was not under any penalty or obligation.  About a week later, I got a call from a man in their customer service department and he argued with me and tried to pressure me into buying the magazines.  He was very rude to me.


After an unpleasant conversation, he finally gave in and told me that my account was cancelled.
